History                                                                                                                            Founded in 1938 by Mr. H.H. Drent, Drent Graphic Machines was one of the forefathers of the Dutch paper-industry. Drent increasingly concentrated on the production of innovative, high-quality web offset printing presses.

In 2001, the new company Drent Goebel was formed by the merger of Drent with the well known company Goebel. Throughout its 150-year history, the web presses of Goebel were always deemed to meet the highest standards, so much so that they were able to meet the strict requirements of both stamp and banknote printing. 

In 2003 the well respected ‘Giebeler Company’ was added to the group. And most recently, in 2005, RDP Marathon Inc. joined our group. RDP was one of the leading press manufacturers in North-America.
